Endurance athletes get their money's worth in the heart of the Ötztal. Directly in the valley basin or up to 1900 m above sea level, the region around Längenfeld, Umhausen, Niederthai and Vent offers optimal opportunities to practice cross-country skiing in all facets and degrees of difficulty. From beginners, for whom there are free weekly taster courses, to professionals, everyone can perfect their pole use on the approximately 85 km of skating and classic high-altitude trails, as well as on the network of trails through the wide valley near Längenfeld.

You can keep fit at and in Obergurgl on 3 km (practice trail) and 7 km, in Hochgurgl on 2 km (high-altitude trail), 1 km in Hochgurgl (floodlit).

Optimal bus connections to the cross-country skiing centre of the Ötztal are available. Or you can comfortably reach the cross-country skiing trails directly by car.
